MAGI ASTROLOGY LESSON

With knowledge of Magi Astrology, you can actually predict future trends that most people never thought was possible. But it is necessary to have the correct birth charts. The first step towards accurate forecasting is having the correct date for birth charts. Although this sounds simple, many professional astrologers have not yet learned how to do this. For example, too many astrologers have been very wrong about the dates they have chosen for countries. To illustrate our point, let us take the US and USSR as examples.

Most astrologers correctly choose the date of July 4, 1776 for the birth chart of the US. But most astrologers have incorrectly chosen to use November 8, 1917 as the date for the birth chart of the USSR. The reasoning of some of these astrologers has been that since the American Revolution began on July 4, 1776 and that gave birth to the US, then the commencement of the Bolshevik revolution on November 8, 1917 must be what gave birth to the USSR. This is not correct. Let us explain why.

In Astrology Really Works!, we explained that America's founding fathers were astrologers. In fact, Benjamin Franklin was probably the very best astrologer of that time. When America's founding fathers drew up the Declaration of Independence, they purposely included a DECLARATION that a new nation was being born. The actual wording in the Declaration of Independence was:

We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America……..appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World for the Rectitude of our Intentions do……..solemnly Publish and Declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be, Free and Independent States; that they are absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown………and….they have full power….to do all…Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do.

As you can see from the way the American founding fathers actually worded their declaration, it was also a proclamation of a new nation. This type of declaration and/or proclamation is one way of creating a new nation. When the Bolshevik Revolution began, they did it another way. They formed a new nation through a coup that overthrew an existing government, and then they formed a new government. BUT the end result was chaos, as opposed to a new nation. Almost immediately afterwards, the Russian Empire collapsed as more than a dozen territories broke away and declared themselves independent nations each with their own governments. Stalin and Lenin decided that these breakaway Russian nations had to be reunified and the first significant step towards the reunification occurred on December 30, 1922. On that day, a decision was made by Russia, Ukraine, Byelorussia and Transcaucasia to immediately unify and become the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) and to also attempt to unify all of the rest of the breakaway Russian countries. On the whole, they were able to corral almost all of the other breakaway republics.

For this reason, the correct birth date for the USSR is December 30, 1922. Guess what? If we use the birth chart of November 8, 1917, it does not resemble the USSR. But when we use December 30, 1922 as the birth chart of the USSR and apply the principles of Magi Astrology, the chart is so accurate that we can actually understand the history between the USA and the USSR.

The astrology of nations is a part of a special astrology called MUNDANE ASTROLOGY. With the correct chart, we now fully fathom why the USSR was the way it was. Below is the birth chart of the USSR.

As you can see, the USSR was formed on a day with a Double Grand Trine, which is one of the most powerful forms of Symmetrical Planetary Geometry. Let us interpret this Planetary Geometry. But first we need to understand that the symbolisms we use for countries are a little different from those we use for the astrology of love and also different from those we use for financial astrology. Although there are differences, you will readily see that the differences still allow Magi Astrology to be completely consistent. Below are two Magi Astrology symbolisms as they relate to countries.

1) Since Pluto rules monopolies in financial astrology, it makes sense that Pluto represents totalitarianism and dictatorships in Mundane Astrology, because dictatorships are a form of monopoly;
2) Uranus rules whatever is worldwide and global; as such in Mundane Astrology, Uranus has these same rulerships but also symbolizes what is massive and huge.

Given the above, the Double Grand Trine in the USSR birth chart gave it the ability to successfully (Jupiter) wage war (Mars) around the world (Uranus) in a totalitarian way (Pluto). The Double Grand Trine also gave the USSR the ability to be successful (Jupiter) as a totalitarian country (Pluto) with a huge (Uranus) and powerful (Pluto) army (Mars) that also had nuclear (Pluto) weapons (Mars). We also now understand why the USSR was obsessed (Pluto) with having a huge (Uranus) army (Mars). And also why the Soviet army was so successful (Jupiter at the corner of a grand trine of Mars and Pluto).

Mars was an important foundation for much of Soviet life. Mars rules sports and dancing including the ballet. The USSR was successful in both of those areas with the enhancements by Jupiter to Mars and Pluto.

The Venus contra-parallel Neptune was a sign that the USSR would most likely have massive oil (Neptune) and natural gas (Neptune) reserves.

The USSR also had Jupiter quincunx Chiron, which resulted in its having a very good public image and also the ability to be regarded as a Cinderella. Obviously, among other communist countries, the Soviet Union was the Cinderella country and was the most successful of them. The Jupiter-Chiron Super Aspect also allowed the USSR to often beat the USA in the propaganda war.

In Mundane Astrology, Chiron rules the economy of the country. The Chiron-Pluto square clearly meant that in the USSR, the economy was certainly not going to be based on investments (Pluto) or competition (Pluto) or big business (Pluto). This is one reason why the USSR felt at home with communism. But the Chiron-Pluto square also severely restricted the Soviet economy since it was a Turbulent Aspect of powerful planets.

The most powerful astrological reason for the fall of the Soviet Union was the Sun-Pluto opposition. In our books, we have emphasized that the most important aspects are the ones to the Sun. The only enhancement aspect to the Sun of the USSR was a parallel by Mercury, which is not that helpful for a country. So the Ruling Aspect to the Sun was the Sun-Pluto opposition, which in Mundane Astrology is symbolic of being overly obsessive (Pluto) to the point of being self-destructive. It also means an inability to compete (Pluto in offset) and the lack of natural capacity to hold and use power (Pluto).

But the fall of the Soviet Union got a colossal push from the USA.

Below is a CAC of the birth charts of the USA and USSR (the black planets belong to the USA and the red ones belong to the USSR). Believe it or not, you can use Magi Astrology principles in order to attain a much deeper cognition of the history between these two countries by analyzing their interaspects. Let us first look at their clashes.

As you can see, there are two Nuclear Clashes between the two countries. In the astrology of love, the Saturn-Chiron clash is a Heartbreak Clash, but in the astrology of nations, the Saturn-Chiron clash is a Nuclear Clash, just like the Saturn-Jupiter Clash. (This makes sense since Chiron rules matters of life and death when it comes to Mundane Astrology.) These two clashes made the two countries sworn enemies. And they also had the Sun-Chiron clash, which means that they were on different wavelengths. That was for sure.

But they never went to war with each other, and now the USSR no longer exists. Why? The answers are always in the stars! Below is another CAC of the two countries, this time showing their linkages.

As you can see, the two countries had an Alliance Linkage, and a Linkage of Forgiveness. If you have our Interpretation Upgrade #1, you will see that the Chiron-Neptune linkage is listed as a Cinderella Linkage. If we were doing the astrology of romance this would be a Romance Linkage. But when we are analyzing countries, there are no Romance Linkages. Instead every Romance Linkage is an Alliance Linkage. This makes sense since countries do not get married, but they form alliances. The USA and USSR were allies in World War II and signed several important Alliance Treaties with each other.

The USSR and US never waged war against each other. Russia threatened to annihilate the US and the US promised it would retaliate by destroying the Soviet Union. Both countries supplied money and weapons to each other's sworn enemies. But neither country ever waged a shooting war against each other. We think that one fundamental reason for this is because the two countries had the Alliance Linkage and the Linkage of Forgiveness.

In addition, using Magi Astrology, we can easily see that there was another very reliable astrological sign that the two countries would escape the specter of a hot war against each other. The Planetary Geometry of the birth charts of the two countries had a remarkable fit. The USA Sun in Cancer is conjunct the Pluto of the USSR and is at one of the corners of the Soviet Union's Double Grand Trine, thereby creating four linkages (one linkage with each of the four planets that formed the Double Grand Trine of the USSR chart).

Therefore, through the MAGIcal lens of Magi Astrology, you could have all slept a little bit easier during the Cold War. But you had to know which charts to use for the two countries.
